TOUCHWOOD® is a dry transfer finish with thin layers of protective top lacquer, decorative and adhesion coats all super-imposed onto a polyester carrier. During the application process, the combination of heat and pressure causes the lacquer package to separate from the carrier film, the heat-activated adhesive allows the whole package to adhere perfectly to the substrate to form a permanent bond. Unlike other decorating techniques, TOUCHWOOD® transfers the lacquer layers only and not the carrier film which is rewound and subsequently disposed off.
